Powerful day at Merindol, site where a village of Waldensians / Protestants, were sent through a faux door (looks like a window in the photo) to their death down a cliff. One of many villages that suffered for their conscience. Loumarin was also visited by Waldensians before the Reformation. Baux-de-Provence is .. well .. beaux.

Rainy day for reading, laundry, eating, photography, antiquity, and a visit to the hospital where Vincent Van Gogh recuperated.
Sabbatical Day 68 – 20th Day of Ordinary Time – (Aix-en-Provence) Arles, France
Day trip to Aix-En-Provence and a wonderful meal at the “Philosopher’s Cafe”. Classic painted doors of Provence, wider boulevards, and an interesting museum with some Cezanne to fill out the day.
